In a very busy weekend for the Club, the U9s supported our Seniors with a Guard of Honour for AIL Round 3 V Dolphin. The 1stXV put in an extraordinary defensive performance in appalling conditions, weather that prevented much for the backs. They scored a brilliant try in the dying minutes to seal a draw and the two points earned keeps them in the middle of the table.
The 2nd XV put in a great performance in their Munster Senior 2nds League also against Dolphin. They won all their lineouts and maintained pressure throughout. In another strong defensive performance, they kept Dolphin scoreless for the second half and sealed a 10-7 victory.
It was great to see our U18.5 back on the pitch for their first amalgamated game of the Season with Cashel Rugby. They gathered momentum as the game went on and put in a very strong second half.
The U16s were very strong against a great Waterford City team. They played with great attacking finesse and flair.
The Mini’s had a ball in Cashel and played fantastic Rugby. Well done to one and all. #clonmelrfc
