With just one rugby fixture left this side of Christmas, don’t forget to join us for our Christmas Concert where our fantastic Male Voice Choir will take to the stage. The only Rugby Male Voice Choir in Munster, the choir epitomises our Club Community Spirit and is always a great night for Clonmel RFC.
With the inaugural performance of our Mini’s, it bodes to be an extra special night this year. Our Senior Players will also take to the Stage to join the Choir for our Club Anthem Slievenamon.
This year our Special Guests are Mimi Lane and Adam Buttimer.
Fresh off the stage of the 3 Arena last Saturday, Singer Mimi has a soaring career in the Irish & UK Dance Music scene. She has performed in SSE Arena Belfast, 3 Arena, St. Anne’s Park and Main Stage to 30,000 punters in Creamfields UK. She has amassed over 2.5 million streams and has just signed a major publishing deal with Sentric Music London. Sister to Senior Players Harry & Jack and Grandaughter to choir member Michael Carey, she is a big Club supporter and is delighted to be singing Stand Up & Fight, Zombie & All I want for Christmas with Clonmel RFC.
Tubist Adam Buttimer has a most successful competition career. He has won the RDS Bursary 2024, Feis Cheoil 2024 Senior Brass Recital & Audrey Chisholm Award in 2023. Adam has performed at Music for Wexford and West Wicklow Chamber Music Festivals. He has also performed with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, the Sibelius Symphony Orchestra, RIAM Philharmonia and the National Symphony Youth Orchestra of Ireland. Adam especially delights in performing new work and performing with his award winning quintet Banshee Brass. With huge Club ties, Adam is brother to Club Captain Henry, son to our Rugby Director Fergal and the Concert’s Musical Director extraordinaire Suzanne.
Suzanne is CEO of @rockwellmusicacademy Tipperary, Founder of the Rockwell Orchestra, Cahir to Sing, she is also a renowned Choral Mistress and teacher of Pianoforte.
