All Ireland Semi-Final
Having just completed our 18th final league campaign fixture last Saturday 4th of April we proudly accomplished the premier pole position as Number 1 in the All Ireland League 2025/26 2C season table defeating Ballyclare RFC away in Antrim.
To top the league is a major national achievement for us in itself and something we have never reached in our clubs history since first qualifying to become a Senior AIL Club in April 2019 defeating Seapoint RFC away in Dublin. However, there was a major player that day in Dublin that played a seriously significant part in helping our 1st XV to achieve that win and qualify Clonmel RFC to compete as a Senior Club, it was you, the supporter, the 16th man or woman on the touchlines cheering and supporting, this encouragement from you brought out the very best in our players on the field for the full 80 minutes. What a super day and memory that was for all.
On Saturday 18th of April we invite every person in Clonmel Town, surrounding towns, villages and townlands to come to our home ground in Ard Gaoithe to support our 1st XV squad. These are a super group of young men who are 100% committed to training and playing every week with all sorts of challenges and demands in their daily lives be it work related or away in third level college etc, they leave no stone unturned by coming to training twice every week in all sorts of weather, their commitment and work-rate is just phenomenal.
We ask all of you reading this post to accept this invitation to come to our home in Ard Gaoithe on Saturday 18th of April to support our 1st XV squad of players, the support from you on the day will no doubt bring out the very best in our team and hopefully achieving victory over Dolphin, we cannot do this without you.
Thank you,
Clonmel RFC
