Clonmel U8s RFC brought their season to a fantastic close on Saturday, April 18th, finishing on a real high under bright sunshine.
The final session was all about fun and celebration, with the boys and girls enjoying a mix of obstacle courses, kicking practice, and a lively soldiers game with parents even joining in on the action.
Throughout the season, the commitment from every player has been clear to see. All seven coaches highlighted the significant progress made, not just in skills but in confidence and teamwork, reflecting the effort the group has put in week after week.
Head Coach Tony Ryan extended his sincere thanks to fellow coaches Shane, Peter, Conall, Michael, Gary, and Tom for their dedication and energy across the season.
He also acknowledged the vital support from parents and guardians, whose encouragement has played a key role in creating such a positive environment for the children.
As the session wrapped up and the goodie bags were nearly gone, the day finished with a special moment... a guard of honour for the Clonmel First Team for their semi-final against Dolphins, whose performance provided a hugely inspiring end to the day, giving the young players a glimpse of what lies ahead and leaving them motivated for the seasons to come.
