Clonmel RFC U11s travelled to the Clongowes Rugby Festival last weekend.
The Warriors played four very competitive matches. The team played against North Kildare, Coolmine, Barnhall and Navan.
The competition was fierce, the line speed ferocious and the tries hard won. "Never give up" is one of the team's mantras and one young warrior put in the tackle of the year to defend a try about two inches from the try line.
The team wrapped up the day by having a lovely meal together in Clongowes school. A fantastic day out, and as always this team were amazing representatives of Clonmel RFC and Munster. Thanks to our players, club, coaches and supporters and massive thanks to Clongowes for their hospitality.
The team wrapped up their final training session of the season on Wednesday night at home in Clonmel RFC.
The boys gave it socks on a beautiful spring evening which showed off their meticulously maintained pitch even better. Kudos to the club!
They travel to Seapoint Festival in Dublin early Sunday morning on their first ever bus trip. These boys have given everything they have been asked all year and their coaches are super proud of their team spirit, positive attitude and grit.
C'mon the Warriors in their final Festival of the year!
