Clonmel RFC got off to a flying start against Skerries RFC, with Michael Connellan breaking through to the try line to give the home side an early lead. James Meagher quickly added another try, and Robert Wall then crossed for Clonmel’s third. Connellan went over twice more before half-time, helping Clonmel into the break with a commanding 35–0 advantage.
Skerries RFC came out strongly in the second half, scoring two converted tries early on to get themselves on the board. Clonmel RFC responded when Dylan Cadogan touched down, and Harry Lane added another try near the end of the match. Skerries RFC replied with a try and conversion, bringing the final score to 47–21 in favour of Clonmel RFC.
