Well done to our Seniors who snitched a last minute victory against Tullamore on the road on Saturday. It was a pull and tug performance by both teams and Clonmel trailed in the final minutes. Tries were scored by Freddie Davies, Ben Masuka & Dean Slattery. Joe O’Connor kicked three out of three and it was his last conversion that gave Clonmel the 21-20 win as the clock turned red. The four point victory puts us back in the 6th position on the table. Whilst the table is very tight still, there is only an outside chance now that we’ll make a playoff. But stranger things have happened in 2C this year, so it’s still to play for. Big week for the lads this week now as they turn their focus to the final Round 18 of the League.
