We had a super night last Thursday night for the Annual Youth Awards. As always, the emphasis was on the players who are the backbone of the Club. And the strength of an any team comes from the team spirit and the squad where everyone has a large part to play in the game of Rugby.
At Clonmel RFC, we pride ourselves with the constant practice of our Club philosophy that we are ‘All for one and one for all’ and each squad was praised for their commitment to each other and the game.
Club Captain Henry Buttimer encouraged each group to ‘stick at it’ and spoke most passionately about the incredible feeling of putting on a Senior Jersey in your Club Home Colours. Well done to one and all for another super season and coming out in your droves to cheer on each other.
Club President Johnny Sheehan, Director of Rugby Fergal Buttimer and Head of Youths Michael Cronin spoke with great excitement about the investment in our Youth Academy as they take it up another level for the coming season. There are super plans to give every player the opportunity to take their game to a higher level.
