Clonmel travelled to Waterford City for their second-last group stage fixture and produced a solid team performance throughout. They started brightly, with sharp interplay between forwards and backs helping them control much of the opening half.
Waterford City responded quickly after the break, scoring early to put Clonmel under pressure. The visitors settled again, lifting their intensity and regaining momentum as the game entered the final stages.
